With the holidays behind us it’s time to replenish our wish lists with new gadgets and devices to make our daily tasks easier, our lives more organized, and just generally make us feel cool. As we enter the era of the Jetsons we have robots that clean our floors, watches that track our heart rate, and a speaker that will answer when you say its name. So, what’s in store for 2018? Here are some of our favorites so far.
Proof - a wristband that tells you when you are too drunk to drive. If you enjoy wine tastings and happy hours, then you may want to invest in this wearable device that tracks your blood alcohol level. This is pretty cool, but if you’re like me then you know it’s time to order an Uber when you find yourself singing Rock Lobster at karaoke (and killing it!).
Kuri - the adorable robot maid. For $799 you can own your own robot maid, literally just like Rosie from the Jetsons. Kuri can inform and entertain, as well as record “special moments” you want to remember.
OGD-R-9 - mobile AR sunglasses for when you literally can’t even. When reality is just too extra, throw these bad boys on and suddenly a crowded train is transformed into a tropical oasis (just ignore the pee smell and it’s like you’re really there).
